چکیده

Development of hypersonic aircraft demands relativistic electromagnetic scattering modeling a high-speed moving dielectric coated object, which is applied to the recognition and tracking stealth object. However, far-zone polarized scatterings from 3D object have not been investigated so far. This paper addresses this problem by combining finite-difference time-domain method with Lorentz transformation (Lorentz-FDTD). Through principle phase invariance, frequency, propagation direction, magnitude incident plane wave size in laboratory frame, stationary respect free space, are transformed those rest frame that moves The scattered field near solved FDTD full permittivity conductivity tensors then obtained implementation near-to-far transformation. for coordinates, Radar Cross Sections (RCSs) plasma objects solved. Especially, characteristics radial radar cross sections discussed. Several numerical experiments carried out, efficiency accuracy proposed validated.

Fdtd Investigation on Bistatic Scattering from a Target above Two-layered Rough Surfaces Using Upml Absorbing Condition

This paper presents an investigation for the electromagnetic scattering characteristic of the 2-D infinitely long target located above two-layered 1-D rough surfaces. A finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) approach is used in this study, and the uniaxial perfectly matched layer (UPML) medium is adopted for truncation of FDTD lattices, in which the finite-difference equations can be used for the...

Relativistic scattering from moving fractally corrugated surfaces.

The solution to the problem of optical or electromagnetic-wave scattering from perfectly conducting rough surfaces modeled by a multiscale fractal function is generalized to the case of relative uniform translating motion with respect to the observer. The presence of motion can be treated by the relativistic frame hopping method by means of plane-wave simplification techniques, since the soluti...

Polarized deep-inelastic scattering from nuclei: A relativistic approach.

We discuss spin-dependent, deep-inelastic scattering from nuclei within a co-variant framework. In the relativistic impulse approximation this is described in terms of the amplitude for forward, virtual-photon scattering from an off-mass-shell nucleon. The general structure of the off-shell nucleon hadronic tensor is derived, and the leading behavior of the off-shell nucleon structure functions...
